Support and smoothing for a tall, plus-size shape
As a tall plus-size woman (5'11", 310 lbs, 50-46-56), I wanted something to look smoother under clingy dresses, prevent thigh chafing and give some tummy compression. I had my high school reunion coming up and was wearing a bodycon dress, so I wanted shaper shorts that would smooth me out without being uncomfortable. I've been wearing them to work to test them out. They're surprisingly comfortable for the amount of compression. I'm tall but short-waisted with a long hip, and I carry most of my weight in my stomach, butt and upper thighs. The waistband hasn't rolled down, and the legs are a great length that doesn't roll on my thick thighs. I can easily move them higher or lower depending on my skirt. The fabric is breathable and soft and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Apart from the very top of the waistband, I can't feel them after a bit. I went with the 4XL for comfort. I hope this helps other tall plus-size women. I know how hard it is to find comfortable, flattering clothes for us.

I'm tall, 5'10", about 215 lbs, with a good bit of curves and a slight hourglass. I wanted something to smooth out the bumps and make dresses fit a bit slimmer, and to help with chafing, because oh my God, is that real with dresses and walking around a lot. I got the XL/2XL. First off, I'm 5'2" and 220 lbs, so yeah, I'm a little juicy (43-39-50). These are absolutely amazing! They shape me so well and smooth me out. It's a firm hold, with butter-soft fabric in the legs. I bought these because my 25-year-old pair of shaper shorts finally gave out. I have a wedding coming up and it's going to be hot, so I wanted help with chub rub in the heat. I'm 5'4", 160 lbs with an athletic build, and a size 14 in jeans. I went one size down for a bit more compression and got the M/L. It fits comfortably once it's on and in place.
