NOSTRA is an online store for clothes, shoes and everyday finds — the coat you reach for every morning, the boots that go with everything, and a few good things for the home.
Why we started
The store exists because of a specific frustration: too much of what is sold online comes with a photo and a price, and nothing about what it is made of or how it fits. We would rather write the awkward detail down — what the upper is made of, the size chart for each style, the fact that some orders arrive in two parcels — and let you decide with it in front of you.
That is the whole editorial rule here: if we would want to know it before buying, it goes on the page.
Who we are and where we are
NOSTRA, which also trades as Lenostra, is a small business registered and run from Canada. Both names refer to the same company, and either may appear on your order confirmation, on your card statement, or on the parcel.
We are run by a small team rather than a large one — which is why the same people who write the product pages also answer the email.
We operate from Canada. There is no retail shop: we sell only through this website.
What we sell
Fashion is where our range runs deepest: coats, jackets, clothes and shoes for women and men. Alongside it we carry our own NOSTRA graphic tees and a smaller selection across shapewear, beauty, wellness, NOSTRA Protein Coffee, kitchen, home and tech.
Where we ship from
We fulfil orders from two places: facilities in the United States and partner facilities in China. Which one your order leaves from depends on the product and on what is in stock at the time you order.
Two things worth knowing because of this. Delivery times can differ from one item to the next, and an order containing several products may arrive in more than one parcel rather than all at once. The estimate shown at checkout is the one that applies to your order — full details are in our Shipping Policy.
Getting in touch
If something is wrong with an order, or you are not sure a product is right for you before you buy, write to us. We would much rather answer the question first.
